Relative today was looking around for mushrooms noticed this tree that seems healthy uprooted and blew over in neighbors yard. He seemed to think was my problem to clean up but seems like trespassing. It did no damage to anything besides the lawn that I can see, a few limbs may have broke off landed in an uncovered junk boat that has sat there not moved for 8 or more years. Everything I know is this is a rental and I have never even seen the actual owner, the township record for the address shows owner lives about 3 hrs away.
I am tempted to just leave it till they say something, even though I have tools, etc to deal with it. I think sometimes the renters do odd jobs but seems kind of hit and miss or how much they do. Or maybe mail the owner something with a couple pictures too and ask what they would like me to do. Though to a degree that seems kind of creepy.
A friend made and gave me a diamond art piece they made. Right now it is just the art and canvas material. I'd like to find or make a frame for it. A few people I talked to seemed to think a matted frame was best bet as this is kind of a 3D type thing. The art section of the material is 12 1/2 IN by about 17 3/4 IN. I know frames come in standard sizes but I don't really know how this relates to matting. I could also make something maybe put the material over a frame and staple, then build some outer frame and cover.
Mid 90s Chevy Cavalier. Short, clunky two door setup, felt like was driving a skateboard like 75% of cars were bigger than it. Felt like the windshield had a funky angle to it too like you were supposed to look more at the sky than anything.
Got this car about a decade ago, a couple years back hauling lumber i managed to break the windshield, got that fixed. Then later had that happen and broke the radio screen, was no way to turn the light off so i just put tape over it, but now clock is unable to be changed. I lived with it thought things may change at work and i'd get some other car but that didn't work out. Think i'll run this till it blows up or gets too much of a headache. I was debating seeing if junkyard would have the part but I doubt they would want to put a lot of time into pulling a part out like this. I also don't think it's worth like $500 or something when radio still works I'll just use my phone for GPS. If it was like $100 junkyard part and a days time maybe.
Looking online for directions a lot show totally different things like radios with small non touch screens, mine has a large screen and 6 buttons on each side. I believe it was touchscreen too. Outer plastic part is shattered, inner part ?? Hoping just find the digitizer and screen and open up the dash and radio and swap those parts out maybe? Seems there is aftermarket devices too which seem could be better as the sync setup needs updates via CD which i never did. But most those setups I don't know are totally compatible or they are $500+.
I guess looking for thoughts or part # or something as seeing so many different things online that seem way off. Apparently even the 2012 escape limited had different radio setups it seems online.
