14 year old Dobie with wobblers yelping now when jumping on to furniture.

So I'll try Make this as short as possible but there is a lot of details that I need to put in in order to get as much help as I can.

My girl was diagnosed with wobblers last November and has been doing great considering the diagnosis up to recently. The last two days she's been yelping when jumping up onto the couch and up onto the bed and I'm almost certain this is related to either arthritis or her wobbler syndrome.

Now the issue lies in how to help her, because her entire life she's been a dog that is allowed on the furniture and allowed on the beds never had a dog bed.

I have purchased dog stairs and a dog ramp she will not use them she's terrified of them. I will hold a treat out and walk her up the steps or ramp and she will just attempt to jump off which I'm scared she's going to hurt herself doing.

I have blocked off the couch so she can't get on to that but she just sits and cries while I'm on the couch watching television.

Here's the detail I need to share in order to help me best. I had a stroke a few years ago so I'm unable to get down to the ground and up safely on my own. Nor can I lift her up because she 70 lbs and I have very limited mobility and strength.

She is on 50mg carprofren x2 daily, and 300 x2 gabapentin daily for inflammation and pain management. What else can I do for her? Is it time to have THAT conversation with her vet?
