Hello my adventurers, I'm from Tamil Nadu and I am planning a bike trip to reach ladakh. I am going to touch down in Kanyakumari, then travel parallel to the west coast Kerela - Karnataka - Maharashtra - Gujarat - Rajasthan - Punjab - Kasmir and then ladakh. I will cover Himachal and Uttarakhand on my way back and save North east india for another lifetime.
Need guidance on what places in all these states to add to the itinerary in what order and it would be great to hear from locals in each of these states.
Will start the trip in MID - JUNE, probably not the best time since I will be interrupted by rain a lot...but super excited to do the monsoon treks in Maharashtra (which I really hope you guys would suggest which one's are best) as well as complete the Kashmir great lakes trek in August or September whenever I reach there.
I'll mostly avoid big cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi even Agra cos I've been there. More focused on nature, scenic spots and unique experiences.
Which apps should I use? For booking cheap stays, as alternatives for Google maps which is less reliable in some places and if you guys know scenic routes other than the typical highways, let me know too.
I am an introvert and probably going to struggle a lott.. but by the end of it I would've completed one of my biggest dreams and hopefully memories for a lifetime.
