Howdy everyone! I finally started on PE1 last week and just reached Disc 2 (saved right before the Museum). From my understanding the Museum is the last main section before the final boss, then it's EX game for the Chrysler Building on day 2. I think I have a good handle on how things go by now but I figured I'd ask a few brief questions:

1. AK or P90? I got the P90 and decided I didn't like Attack All, but since I overrode my save state I opted to just regrind and get the AK. I'm leaning towards that, but also saw a lot of people in older forums and such suggest the P90 so I figured I'd better ask now just in case there's something I'm missing. Also if any of the other weapons Wayne gives you are good.
2. Do I need to go back to any of the prior locations before moving on? I've got a decent stockpile of tools and items, and I did the Warehouse, but I came across a trading card in Soho and I'm wondering if there are others I missed.
3. How does bonus points work? As I understand, you have to avoid being hit until you level up to get extra, but you don't get any for just killing stuff, which also means you don't get many points unless you're really good at not getting hit or save-scumming.
4. How similar is PE2 to PE1? I'm planning on starting 2 after I finish with 1-the gameplay I've seen looks somewhat similar but more RE inspired, but I haven't looked deeper to see if it's just minor system mechanics or something.
5. How the fuck is this game so damn good? I've been binging Final Fantasy for the last few months and Resident Evil for the last year but PE is actually goated AF.
