Can a company not count a payable task because they do not get paid for it?
I work based on a minimum billable hours system. The company has recently implemented changes where they are saying that a task is billable for some clients but not others, depending on the contract with the client.
To me, this sounds like a company contract problem and the task should still be billable and I should be paid for my work. Is it legal for my company to count a billable task as both billable and non-billable dependent on the client?
Thanks
