Miller Ross (has direct ties to Marvel Games, NetEase, etc.) mentions that Marvel Games doesn't want to include Inhumans in their games as we approach the Mutant Saga of the MCU. This could impact certain Tokon roster decisions long-term.

This was mostly in response to how NetEase handled Moon Girl, but Marvel Games' stance on the Inhumans has implications for Tokon as well as other Marvel Games projects. Ironically, Ms. Marvel being retconned into a mutant (which was apparently the original intention of G. Willow Wilson & Co. anyway) may have saved her long-term. Since Tokon's base roster was seemingly decided around 2020-2021, perhaps the base roster & the first year of DLC could sneak in an Inhuman. But the longer this game lasts, the less likely that becomes.

Sony & Arc System Works have the opportunity to do the funniest (and coolest) thing ever

Context: Marvel Rivals Season 8 got announced, with Devil Dinosaur & Cyclops being this season's new heroes. The problem, they split up the iconic duo of Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur to do it, relegating Lunella to a charm for Devil & a non-playable role in the Alchemax stage. And with her signature being given to Devil, it's unlikely that she'll ever be playable.

There are folks disappointed by the move, myself included. But Sony & ASW could have an opportunity to rectify this to an extent and implement the duo as a single character in Tokon via DLC. Hopefully it happens, as they deserve the spotlight shined on both of them properly in a playable fashion.

This is basically Arc System Works' take on Dark Reign, where Doctor Doom gravely injured T'Challa to the point of a coma. Shuri had to step in as Black Panther while her brother recovered, which seems to be what's also happening here.

The way Rooflemonger words it, this game may be "Injustice 3" in name only. And given the direction DC seems to be going with stuff like the DCU, this is probably the right call. Evil Superman has more than run its course, & the damage the Regime Earth did to its Diana is irredeemable. Might as well wipe the slate mostly clean & move forward with new takes on these characters, that way the likes of Nightwing & John Stewart can be revived ahead of (potential, in Dick's case) DCU debuts.
