is there a point to the "extensions" build anymore?
Basically the title. My understanding is that they don't really work. I always pick no extensions now and feel like functionality is great still. But let me know what I'm missing!

If you're in this sub you probably have a weird fascination with browsers. Yet there's not a lot "interesting" happening in this space. I like helping people find the browser right for them as much as the next guy, but these updates are just so interesting comparatively. I look forward to every month's update!
Edit: Google's automatic summary "This update highlights the integration of a transparent PDF viewer, new history-aware address bar autocomplete, and a GTK4-based Linux frontend. Major efforts focused on performance optimizations for JavaScript execution, memory allocation, and networking, alongside expanded CSS feature support to improve compatibility and responsiveness across various web platforms."
