When I asked if there are any Sunbringer related stuff in the 3.0 beta, Palito mentions there are two npcs that have Sunbringer in their code names

GalNPCLindveinTeenSunbringer
It is currently unknown whether or not they are related to the actual lady Sunbringer story wise
The uniform worn by the Void Hunters in the trailer is the uniform of the founders of Old Eridu. The first generation of Void Hunters were the ones who founded Eridu, and the uniform, along with the golden emblem, symbolized their status as founders.
But then Sunbringer was betrayed by the people of Eridu. Her contributions were ignored and unappreciated (possibly by TOPS' influence). Because of that, she abandoned her title as a Void Hunter, left Eridu, and went on to build Roscaliefer.
So if they actually redesigned her based on the feedback, she probably wouldn’t wear the cloak with the golden emblem anymore because that would make SB seem hypocritical.
