My 5min btc bot is finally doing well
Took a while, but finally seeing really promising results on my bot :)
I'll keep y'all updated.

I'll keep y'all updated.
I built a bot that trades 5-min BTC “up or down” markets on Polymarket.
It doesn’t try to predict the future perfectly — just looks for small statistical edges on each candle and gives signals automatically. Filters out random/noisy setups.
I had zero coding background a few months ago. Built this using AI tools + a lot of testing (and blowing up a few versions along the way).
Not gonna pretend it’s magic — some days it loses, some days it does surprisingly well.
But overall… it’s been interesting enough to keep running it live.
Made a simple dashboard to track:
- P&L
- Custom P&L cards
- win rate
- active trades
- equity curve
Listed it on whop for $149 one-time, no subscription. link if anyone wants to check it out:

When I first heard about Polymarket and saw the kind of things people were betting on there, I honestly just laughed and checked it out for fun.
At the beginning, I lost a few hundred dollars. Nothing serious — I simply had no idea what I was doing.
At that time, I was already frustrated with the usual path: working constantly, doing everything you’re supposed to do, and still feeling like you’re not getting anywhere.
So instead of walking away, I kept going.
I started studying how these markets actually move — what changes people’s opinions, what drives decisions, and why prices shift the way they do.
Eventually I got deeper into it and started building tools. I spent around four or five months working on a bot on and off, mostly late at night.
I lost a few thousand dollars along the way testing ideas that failed. A lot of trial and error, a lot of frustration, and plenty of moments where it felt pointless.
But over time, I built something more consistent. Nothing insane, not some get-rich-quick story — just something better than where I started.
I’m not posting this to sell anything or pretend I have it all figured out.
It just made me realize that the path people tell you to follow isn’t the only one, even when it feels like it is.
Sometimes the most valuable part is surviving the phase where everything feels pointless… because that’s often the moment something starts to change.
