Omada Network 6.2 is live! What are your thoughts?

Version 6.2 of the Omada SDN is fully released! And with it, a bunch of new features.

Remote Access helps reduce on-site visits with secure, auto-expiring tunnels for remote troubleshooting.

The Built-in WAN Speed Test tool lets you measure the speed on your Gateways from the Omada Controller.

VLAN Profiles enable deployment at scale, while Port Profiles simplify individual port configuration.

Which Approach Fits Your Network?

We recently released an article breaking down the differences between on-prem controllers and cloud-based network management, covering details like deployment complexity, visibility, scalability, and long-term operations. You might prefer the lower upfront cost and convenience of a cloud controller... or you may prefer the full local control of an on-premises controller.

We are once again seeking experienced IT professionals in the United States to participate in our US Enterprise Beta Program! Selected users would be able to test and provide feedback on pre-release hardware, firmware, and features, including but not limited to Fusion Gateways and new VIGI offerings!

Ideal participants would:

  • Possess hands-on experience with networking products such as Omada, Cisco, Ubiquiti, etc.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with networks of varying scales
  • Have a strong understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, VPN, etc.
  • Be capable of providing detailed, constructive feedback and committing several hours per week to testing
