Hi everyone. I tried to look online for threads of anyone else who has regripped a DF 2.1 from the Press II 3° to a Press Pistol 2° but have not found much info, so figured I’d see if anyone here could help.
The larger grip size that came with the Press II 3° has been kind of a struggle for me. Although I have adjusted over time to getting comfortable, I have never fell in love with it. But I used one of my buddy’s LAB putter which was a different model (DF 3), and liked the feel of the press pistol grip instantly. However since it was also a different putter I’m not sure if that feeling will translate or if it will negatively impact the point of the 2.1 putter in the first place.
The only resource I found that directly addressed my question was LAB’s website which says the Press Pistol 2° can be paired with the DF 2.1, however it makes it clear that it is not usually paired with it.
This subreddit seems very knowledgeable on the topic so I was wondering if anyone has any reasons I should not try it or have any experience with this scenario. Thanks!
