Why don't these Ukraines unite into one country and instead separate into different colours? Are they racist towards each other?

Why doesn't the USA just rush Tehran in the first 3 days, fail, get pushed back on all major fronts, then spend the next 4 years failing to break Iranian lines in a pointless war of attrition losing hundreds of thousands of troops? Are they stupid?
