Posting in a couple subs! Cross-shopping these two cars atm and am in between 2 very similarly spec’d cars. Both 2021, ~65k miles used, very well maintained/garage kept, and practically identical insurance quote. The ES350 is going for 28k OTD (about $600 monthly with insurance) vs the Mazda3 is going for ~19.5k OTD (about $400 monthly). I make ~100k annually so I can afford either, and from what I understand the Lexus pretty much does what Mazda does but just a bit better (smoother ride, more luxurious, more reliable even bc Lexus, better resale, etc).

My question is, is there any practical reason to go for the Mazda3 Turbo over the ES and pocket the $200 a month when I can comfortably afford both, that I’m not thinking about?

I know this is extremely subjective, but just want to cover my bases here, thanks
