Does this test look positive?
This sure looks like a faint positive to me, but I showed it to someone on Doctor on Demand and she didn't see it. Granted I was holding my phone up to the computer screen, so she might not have been able to get a good look. I think the reverse color image makes it pop out. I want to be wrong, but also want to know what the situation is.
Relatedly, does anyone know of a telehealth that will prescribe metformin? The woman I talked to at Doctor on Demand said she wouldn't (and also wouldn't prescribe paxlovid without a clearer test).
I'd appreciate any other good advice about the best actions at this point.
Background: Monday night, trouble sleeping. Tuesday, some diarrhea, some nausea, felt like I was noticing something happening in lymph nodes, had some shaking. Didn't sleep at all Tuesday night. High heart rate on exertion. Wednesday, more shaking, then night sweats.
I had flu A about a month ago, so I'm probably depleted from that; I had some similar symptoms at that time that have been slowly resolving (e.g. high heart rate from that, but it had been improving; fluid in ears). I've been staying home the whole time, but on Saturday I went out in my apartment building, masked in an aura, to take out a bunch of trash/recycling and collect mail and packages. I was out in the building about 20 minutes total in lobby, basement, and elevator.
To my knowledge, I've never had covid before; I always mask diligently everywhere, so I'm pretty upset. I'm grateful for any advice about managing an initial infection and preventing long covid.
