Is it at all possible to make a thin glass face mask with ferrofluid inside it? i want it for my rorschach cosplay. I’d only need two nostril holes, and the mask would encompass my whole face
For those who don’t know, Rorschach in the Watchmen comics wears a mask featuring moving ink blots on cloth. This isn’t possible to replicate as far as I know, but you can get pretty close by brushing thermal paste onto fabric. Applying heat to thermal paste causes it to react and change color from clear to black, it’s pretty cool. All the youtube tutorials I’ve seen use the heat from their breath to activate the paste, but the problem with that is it only really affects the area around your mouth (plus I’d probably get light headed and pass out from constantly breathing heavy) So I had the idea to install heating pads on a ski mask, hooked up to a power banks, pulsing every few seconds or so to activate the pattern.
