Did I create a new meta or it already exists? And does it break immersion

Chapter 1 - locked

I am not someone who likes to write. While I have a fixation on history and mysteries, writing never clicked for me.

However, that all changed on May 21st, 2020.

I must inform you that the lockdown has been put in place due to a new virus. I had a lot of free time, so I was rotting in my room.

I was quite angry when my phone’s battery died. I stood up and started scrambling to find the charger.

Ah, forgive me for my English, it is my second language, but the most comfortable to write in.

Anyway, while throwing my clothes around, I found something which was certainly not mine. My first instinct was that it was of a friend who left it here, but it was too peculiar to be that.

A chest of sorts with a stupidly bland design. I stared at it for a good handful of seconds before touching it.

I spent the next few minutes trying to open it. In the end, it opened in a bizarre style. I do not even know how to write about it.

Inside it were stacks of books.

When I curiously opened one, it was written with weird symbols.

That is why I am writing this.

I found a few books meant to teach me this language, and in a few months, I could roughly translate the mysterious books. Sure, I did question it, and I did try to find any answers.

But I soon gave up, amounting it to something God gave me to cure my boredom and be cheerful or something.

Now I will be translating it as well as I can. I’ll use ‘*’ and ‘ **’ to write translation notes.

Since the books I found were seemingly a story, and I am not the writer, I will just be the translator.

The title of the book was GREED.

But I will call this OTHERWORLDLY GREED for obvious reasons.

Is this a new meta? (or at least something unique) and would this break immersion

“The Chinen body is quite strong. It takes far more effort to fully kill one.”
Re moon said with a calm but melancholic voice. He was pouring black sticky oil on a sleeping child as he continued,
“Pay close attention, the boy will wake up at any second. Do not think of him as a fellow living being, think of him for what he is. A traitor.
He could have led to our entire tribe getting destroyed.” Re moon lied.
Smiling, he noticed the boy twitch slightly. “Now repeat, what is our goal?”
“To make him suffer?”
“Grant him pain before relief!”
“Make him regret!”
These voices were full of hesitation and regret — after all they belonged to a group of kids.
The group of boys looked around themself trying to find an escape before lowering their heads as Re moon nodded. Re moon let out a hidden yawn, It was getting boring and repetitive now.
But it was important, it was not something he wanted to do, it was something he had to do. Now it felt like a boring chore he had to do every year, a repetitive one.
The sleeping boy churned as he woke up, Mom? He thought.
He felt something cold on his leg, spreading to envelope his whole body — that was only for a fraction of a second though. The weird cold feeling turned into heat. He felt as if was burning. He coughed as he tried to stand up but was kicked back into the ground.
He let out a soul piercing scream as he felt his skin burning and falling off. He tried to roll on the ground but was kicked again. He faintly heard a group rejoicing as the pain subsided. He felt as if someone had stopped the fire but could still see himself burning.
If he was not in sensory overload he might have seen the faces of scared kids with someone shouting orders and motivational quotes at them.
Until he couldn't — his eyes stung one last time before his vision blanked out, He could not scream now for he was coughing in the smoke around him.
He could not feel anything as he tried to stand up again but was once again kicked to the ground. Then he was kicked once more. He could not feel anything as a fragment of memory flashed in his consciousness.
It was of a little kid — around his age whom he gave some water to.
It was the last thing he ever thought of.

As he felt a drop of water on his face, he knew that his plan had worked.

Elias instantly flew… Upwards?

The mysterious man was baffled as he stared at Elias rising to the sky.

The chaotic battlefield instantly slowed down. Hundreds of Laity were staring in the sky, people who were fighting either completely stopped or slowed down considerably as they stared at a man flying upwards.

He was wearing black clothes as he rapidly rose in the sky, his purple hair stuck to his head in the abrupt rain.
