Pro Wrestling (WWE) is a sport and should be covered on ESPN
According to the Cambridge dictionary, the definition of a sport is:
> a game, competition, or activity needing physical effort and skill that is played or done according to rules, for enjoyment and/or as a job
https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/sport
There is absolutely nothing about this definition that rules pro wrestling out. The main thing that people point to is the matches being scripted, but they fail to realize that the results of the match aren't the competition; the competition is getting over with the fans, getting your boss to feature you in the main event, and make the most money.
Wrestling is a performance, similar to sports like gymnastics, which are also covered on ESPN.
Ever since the maintenance earlier this week, my app has been borderline unusable. Around 50% of the time the main screen won't load, it just stays black, and I have to close and reopen the app. About 20% of the time when I open the app I have to login, despite saving my info to auto login. And if I can actually get to try to play a game, about 75% (and getting worse) of the time the timer on the waiting page freezes. Maybe 25% of the time it will still connect me to a match if I wait between 15-60 seconds, but the majority of the time I have to close the app and reopen it.
I've logged in and out a hundred times, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I'm about to stop trying to play and just do something else with my time.
Things have been dire for years.
No one wants to admit it.
Indies and AEW are the saving graces of pro wrestling. Give them your support.
