I have about 1000 hours on my A1 Mini and decided to pull the trigger on a U1. I’ve been scrolling through the subreddit and keep seeing the custom firmware mentioned. Is this something that is recommended?

I saw a post talking about making the camera frame-rate better with the cfw, and even adding a usb webcam. I’m also interested in Full Spectrum printing. Is cfw needed for this?
