Any other nudists dress in reverse order?
Anyone else dress in reverse order?
By that I mean being naked and putting your socks on first, then your shirt, and only then your underwear and so on.
As a nudist why not stay naked as long as possible and why succumb to rushing to cover your unmentionables as fast as possible by putting your underwear on first?
I first stumbled upon this in high school swim class freshman year back in the late 80’s. We were provided swimsuits by the school. After swimming we were instructed to take a shower while still wearing our suits and then we would line up near the exit to the shower, strip our suit off and place it into a super large hamper thing on wheels, and then be handed a towel by a senior in the same suit booth you would get your suit from.
Then you would walk back to your locker to dry off and get dressed. Of course many would slip their underwear on underneath their towel before even drying the rest of their bodies. I always just dried everything first which left me naked as I would start with my head then my arms, body and so on down to my feet.
I was not a popular kid but two popular kids where on either side of me each day. Found it kind of funny in that situation I provided a “buffer” between them. I noticed my confidence in getting dressed rubbed off on them and they started toweling off in the same way I did.
For no particular reason one day I noticed my shirt was on top of my clothes pile and I just put it on first, then decided to continue doing that day by day. When the world didn’t end I figured I would try my socks first, then shirt, and so on. I got to where I really liked and preferred that. When undressing I would purposefully put my clothes where my underwear was on the bottom of the pile so when getting dressed it looked (at least to me) like I was just grabbing my clothes in the order they laid there. No one ever said a word about it.
Was so proud when I saw the kid next to me try getting dressed that way, I think just once, but I really didn’t pay much attention after that.
To this day I always put my shirt on first when naked. And though I don’t often wear socks, when I do, I start with them even before my shirt.
Surely I cannot be the only nudist who prefers getting dressed like this?
