“NJ Transit is leasing an additional 85 buses that will be staged near Secaucus Junction at New Jersey Turnpike Exit 15X to provide added capacity.
The 85 buses are contingency buses and will be used if (and) when needed,” said Jim Smith, an NJ Transit spokesperson. “We are not running bus service from the Port Authority Bus Terminal to the stadium - that’s Host Committee.
Those buses are in addition to the 125 buses NJ Transit contracted in September 2025 as a backup fleet to move thousands of fans, if needed, officials said
