PC players, do you pilot with M&K or a controller?

For context, BF6 is my first Battlefield ever.

I'm about 200h into the game by now, and I'm more and more tempted by aerial gameplay. The problem is that I'm having a really, really bad time with M&K. I've been using dedicated community servers to try my hand and fiddle with keybinds, but I can't find anything that feels very comfortable or intuitive. I do a bit better with helis and might pull off somewhat decent stuff with a bit lot of practice, but jets feel like a lost cause.

I'm considering getting a controller and I was interested in some feedback first. What input do you use? If you use M&K, what do your keybinds look like? Do you think a controller makes piloting a better experience overall? Any useful resources on the matter out there?

Hey, my apologies if this was already asked in the past, I did some research including on this sub and found nothing.

Following an issue with Steelseries GG (process randomly decided to show up in my task manager but not actually open, persisted across PC boots), I did a clean reinstall of the app. It now works properly, but the one clip I had left unprocessed before the reinstall doesn't appear inside the app (it's the one highlighted on the screenshot, all the others were taken after the reinstall.) The folder is the same as before, the naming convention hasn't changed, the app has been restarted, so I'm not sure why it keeps ignoring this specific file.

Right now there's only one so I can process it separately and it's not a big deal, but I'd rather sort this out in case something similar happens again with a larger number of clips. Anyone knows what the problem might be?

I'm a PC player who, just like in the meme, originally enjoyed both parts watching playthroughs on YouTube. I finally got to play Part I when it was ported a few years ago, then bought Part II earlier this year and finished it an hour ago.

So, I vividly remembered how controversial it was upon release. I really enjoyed watching the playthrough so I didn't subscribe to those controversies, but after a few years of being sparsely exposed to more reasonable criticisms of the game (aka, those that weren't directly inherited from Gamergate and 2016-era moral panics), I was kinda curious to see if my perspective as an actual player with discourse hindsight would be different.

It wasn't. It's one the best games I've ever played. I remember thinking during the YouTube playthrough that it had the most gorgeous-looking, smoothly intricate postapocalyptic environment I'd seen in a game, and my reaction playing six years later was exactly the same. The cinematography is flawless. The voice acting and motion capture are spectacular. The gameplay novelties are cool, regarding melee combat particularly.

I understand why the writing can be divisive, but honestly it just hit all the right spots for me. I found the intersecting perspectives trick very efficient both in 2020 and now, the messages are powerful, and I just like it when stories aren't afraid of making a clear distinction between characters being protagonists and them being moral, or them making immoral choices and them being evil. Especially when they eventually have to face the consequences of and come to terms with their immoral choices.

I'm really eager for Part III now. Not merely because I want more of TLOU (although I do) but also because I think Part II works really well as a second act (duh), as in "this is arguably the absolute lowest point and now they have to get their shit together to get out of it." The ending is a bit depressing, but should we eventually get a trilogy, this has the potential of being the setup for an incredible story/character arc completion. I really hope we'll get that.

Only disappointment for both parts: imo the photo mode isn't great, so despite frequent opportunities I was rarely motivated to pause and work something out. Attached: two of the handful of pics I took, from one of my favorite chapters. Plus a last one from Part I for good measure!
