I have been watching Season 1 of Andor and I noticed something weird. After watching Episode 10, Episodes 11 and 12 as well as Episode 1 of Season 2 kept using Episode 10's thumbnail.

After the last update I had changed Sort Order to "Streaming Style" but nothing changed, I guess because I'm not watching any shows that have a new episode coming out each week right now. So I changed it back to Default.

At first I thought it was all working properly but I quickly noticed that one of the shows I was watching was missing. I am currently watching 9 different shows. Only 8 were displayed in Continue Watching. Buffy the Vampire Slayer was missing.

So I went into a catalog and opened the Details page and it was showing the next episode as Season 2 Episode 2 as it should. Then I backed out and went back to Continue Watching.

Buffy was back. Rick & Morty was gone. Repeated previous steps. Rick & Morty is back. The Boys is gone.

I went back into the settings and I noticed I had also turned on another new setting "Up Next From Furthest Episode." In my situation that doesn't actually change anything so I turned it off. That seems to have fixed everything. I hope.

One other thing I noticed was as I made these changes the picture in the thumbnail for several of the shows kept changing. Weird. I am using TMDB enrichment. Maybe one of these new settings is not compatible?

But the weirdest thing is that all of this only happened a few hours ago, a full 24 hours after the 0.6.16 update.

tl;dr The new Continue Watching options have some jank that needs hammering out.

Real Debrid got bitchslapped by the French government and are scrubbing their servers. A lot of people are switching to TorBox and there are ways to get discounts but for some reason the mods of relevent subs are getting pissy about posting them. To be honest Real Debrid has (had?) a bigger cache and streams seemed to load faster but I've always had TorBox as a backup and it's still pretty good.

Also, I believe the code (which stacks) SIGMA30 will get you a 30% discount but only if you pay with crypto so I personally haven't tried it.

I have a catalog called "Calendar videos - Series" that is attributed to AIOMetadata. I have looked everywhere in AIOMetadata but I can't seem to find it. I have disabled it in Nuvio and it is empty so it wasn't appearing on the homepage anyway but it still appears in Discover and it's wreaking havok on my ocd. Does anyone know how to actually delete it?

I have both Real Debrid and TorBox. I also use two instances of AIOStreams - Midnight's and Elfhosted. I had the order setup with Real Debrid first as it seems to load streams faster.

This means almost all the streams I get are from Real Debrid with the occassional one from TorBox popping up if it is not on Real Debrid for some reason.

With the issues we are having with Real Debrid I decided to go into AIOStreams and just move TorBox above Real Debrid for now. But I encountered a weird error when trying to save configuration.

The two instances of AIOStreams are indentical. When I press Save in Elfhosted it saves fine. But when I do it in Midnight I get the following error...

Failed to fetch manifest for MediaFusion

RD: 404 - Not Found

or

Failed to fetch manifest for MediaFusion

TB: 404 - Not Found

When I press play on a movie it starts loading, the Elfhosted stream list populates, then the Midnight on briefly turns red, kind of shakes and then disappears. I went into AIOStreams (Midnight) and disabled MediaFusion and it saved and now it's working again just with no results from MediaFusion obviously.

What's really weird though is that in the Elfhosted stream list there are results from MediaFusion and they play just fine.

Anyone know why this would be happening and/or how to fix it?

While I'm here, quick question...

In the Elfhosted instance, which was the one I set up when I first set up Stremio ages ago, there is one difference. In the addons list I have one that is listed seperately under "Miscellaneous" called "+ TorBox."

Not the debrid under Services. An addon. In the Addon Marketplace it says Stream, Meta, Catalog just like Torrentio, MediaFusion, etc as if it is a scraper but I have literally never seen a result from it.

Anyone know what it is, what it does (or why it doesn't seem to do anything) and if you use TorBox debrid service do you also use this or should I just delete it?

So earlier today I made a post both on the Trakt sub and their forum. It was a bug report. Trakt took a show that I had watched over several months and chaged the watched date to the exact same time and date for 154 episodes.

The post on their sub was deleted by the mods. So I went to see if I had got a response on the forum. Well, I did if you count getting banned as a response. So I made another post on the sub explaining the situation and it kind of blew up.

So I just got permabanned from the sub. I think I might go buy an MDBList subscription out of spite.

I don't really care about being banned. I'm just not sure how they think this is going to play out. They made some terrible changes that everyone hates and it is riddled with bugs. And when their paying customers complain they get banned. Yeah, if I'm banned from your forum you're banned from my money.

This is the first time I've been waiting for the digital release of a movie I'm really excited for on Nuvio. The digital release date was listed as the 12th. Yesterday it popped up in Trending movies. I have Hide Unreleased ticked on AIOMetadata so I assumed it must have released early. But now it has disappeared from Trending.

I can search for it and it is there so I could give it a try. My main question is even if it is Project Hail Mary would I be better off waiting a few days for higher quality? In this situation do you usually see low quality files drop an hour after release then high quality comes later?

Right now the top result is Web-DL 4k 30GB 25Mbps DV DD+. Which is probably decent quality. But would you wait?

I just made a post both here on reddit and on the Trakt forums because Trakt took a show I had watched over several months and changed the watch date to the exact same date and time for every episode. That post was just removed by the moderators on reddit. Because of course it was. So I went to see if there was a response on the Trakt forum...

That is absolutely fucking pathetic. I complained about a bug. So you banned me from the forum.

I just noticed Trakt has move all 154 episodes of Futurama to 1 May 2026 14:38. Why? I know if I've seen something. I don't need Trakt to tell me I've seen Futurama. I need Trakt to tell me when I've seen Futurama. And the worst part... I finished the last episode a month ago. Why is it fucking with things I haven't interacted with in a month?

Has anyone else tried adding Trakt Anticipated Movies through Trakt Integration in AIOMetadata? The catalog is there and it has appeared in Nuvio because it is in Discover but it's empty. I have other lists from Trakt including personal lists and Recommendations for both Movies and Series and they all populate.

Does this feature just not work? Is it because movies that are "anticipated" do not have a digital realease yet? That seems like an oversight. If something isn't released you want it in Anticipated Movies but you don't want it in regular catalogs because you can't watch them.

Movies only. So no tv shows.

Some thoughts...

1. I'm not sure the introduction of one of the stones (Thor The Dark World) or the first appearance of a major character (Black Widow in Iron Man 2) is enough to include the movie.

2. I'm not a huge fan of Age of Ultron but felt the conflict between Steve and Tony along with the introduction of both Vision and Scarlet Witch warranted it's inclusion.

3. Some movies I feel are not essential to the overall series. I just like them. Like Ant-Man and the Spider-Man movies.

4. Chadwick Boseman was awesome. Michael B. Jordan is Michael B. Jordan. And I loved Letitia Wright as Shuri (What are thooose?!!). But Black Panther is kind of crap and I'm tired of pretending it isn't. The story is mid and the CGI fights are atrocious. Like, Blade II was embrrassed.

5. I heard Ant-Man and The Wasp is pretty important but I somehow missed it. I kind of wish it wasn't sandwiched in between Infinity War and Endgame.

6. Endgame seems like a good place to stop. After that it goes down hill fast and they are just milking it for all it's worth. I just lost interest. I included the Spider-Man movies because even though they might not be entirely neccessary I like them so I might as well watch them in the order they appear in the MCU.

7. Closest to being cut would probably be Age of Ultron and Doctor Strange (especially as I have no intention of ever watching Multiverse of Madness). Any arguments for or against including these?

8. With Brand New Day coming I'm not sure if Guardians 3 is worth the interuption. Thinking of ending things with a run of Spider-Man movies and hope they don't try to force any tie-ins.

9. I liked Deadpool & Wolverine but I don't think it even belongs on this list. Thunderbolts was okay but again doesn't feel part of what I have included. Fantastic 4 was decent and may make the cut depending on future movies. But not at this point.

10. Please don't say "You have to watch all of them." That's not helpful.

Thanks for listening to my TED Talk and downvoting me because I don't like your favorite movie like a true redditor.

So I ran into an issue while watching Archer. The three parter "Heart of Archness" is generally considered to be the first three episodes of Season 3. And without it it goes from Archer's fiance getting murdered right at the end of the last episode of Season 2 to Archer hitting on random bar skanks right at the start of the first episode of Season 3. If you are watching with autoplay the two things happen less than 30 seconds apart. It's really jarring.

While looking into this I ran into no end of problems. There are a number of popular shows where a tv network originally aired episodes in the wrong order (Cowboy Bebop, Firefly, Futurama) or other issues like Heart of Archness being considered a Special or the end of Battlestar Galactica being split into either three 45 minute episodes or one 45 minute episode followed by a 90 minute finale.

It was bugging me so I went into AIOMetadata and found that you could select TVDB episode order as Original Aired Date or Official/DVD Order.

Great. But not great. Beause it didn't work. Then I realised that having Episodes ticked in Integrations - TMDB in Nuvio settings does not "enhance addon data" as claimed but overrides metadata. So I turned off "Episodes." It worked.

Great. But not great. Because Trakt only recognises TMDB which only uses Original Aired Order. So now there are missing episodes. There are episodes I have seen that are now showing as not watched and if I try to manually mark them as watched it returns an error.

And I hate to think what is going to happen if I actually watch things with this setup. Will Trakt mark the right episodes as watched but in the wrong order? Or will it mark the wrong episodes but in the right order? And if it's the first one, what happens to Up Next?

Everything should be watched in the official order as intended by the people who made the show and sometimes the Original Aired Order is literally because some retard put the wrong tape in the machine.

Or in the case of Cowboy Bebop they took too many drugs and decided to show 12 out of the 26 episodes in random order followed by the message "You will see all of Cowboy Bebop someday." and then play it in the right order 6 months later.

It seems that what will cause the least problems is leaving TMDB enrichment on and AIOMetadata set to Original Aired Date. Which means you will see some stuff in the wrong order ( and might occassionally need to seek the correct order manually) but don't have to deal with any other problems.

Except for Cowboy Bebop because it seems uploaders refused to play ball with Japanese television executives on shrooms and even though the thumbnail says you will be getting the wrong episode the right one is played.

tl;dr If you use Trakt you have to watch shows in Original Aired Order.

And if anyone has suggestions to make this less of a shitshow please let me know.

A while back Trakt upped the item limit for free users to 250 items per list. Since I started using Nuvio and created a Trakt account to link to it about 6 weeks back I have used my Trakt Watchlist for Anime and my two personal lists for Movies and Series. All of them have well over 100 items and the full lists were previously displayed in my Nuvio Library.

Starting a few days ago all my lists in Nuvio stop at exactly 100 items. The full lists are still there in Trakt but in my Nuvio Library, and as catalogs added through AIOMetadata, they just stop at 100 items.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more talk about this. I did see someone briefly mention it and someone replied with something like "Apps need to update the API."

What does this mean exactly? Is it something Trakt needs to do? Something the Nuvio devs need to do? Something I need to do?
