Big Pollock from Shore, on a homemade lure.

Short but very productive session. Both fish caught on the same homemade lure too, extra satisfying. Unfortunately the bigger one was gut hooked and bleeding badly, I usually return fish that size. At least the freezer is packed with fish now.

I’ve made a video on how I found this mark. How I find new spots is probably the thing I’m asked the most, so hopefully the new video is helpful.

Actually planned on fishing the loch just further downstream but didn’t have any luck there. Plenty of action in the river though, mostly on dry fly but one on a nymph.
