E-tron GT interior door pull creaking no more!!
I had luck eliminating the door rattles after removing my door panel and spending a day investigating possible rattling locations and applying felt tape to the problem areas. But the door pull still made an extremely cheap plastic creaking sound when grabbing it. worse if you tried to crank on it a bit. So since i had a random day off today, i pulled the panel out again and figured out how to get rid of that shit too. After unscrewing about say..... 20-30 screws, i had both the lower speaker grill out (had to come out first to get the door pull out), and the whole door pull. which included the window switches and side mirror controls. Once out, i separated the plastic housing from the leather door pull and found a bunch of plastic clips. No doubt these were the primary culprit. I also went ahead and covered each screw cover with felt tape also. So after going through almost a full roll of felt tape and finishing both doors, 100% of my issues with these doors are finally GONE. here are some photos of how i applied the felt tape. and yes, i was bored AF today.
