Skin condition black spots hair loss
Hi this is my first post ever I’m more of a reader of Reddit but I’m a little desperate for advice.
My dog was groomed in November and my mother says the groomer put a perfume on my dog that made her skin react this way but it is half a year later and the patches of hair loss is getting wider and these spots are showing up in my dogs back that I’ve never seen before. Chat gpt says it might be allergic dermatitis from a flea infection however she get fleas treatment and a regular check her fur it doesn’t have fleas . My other dogs hair is perfectly fine and it’s just my corgi. She often plays and sticks her head under the fence interacting with the neighbors dog. I don’t know if it’s a factor but I need to state everything. I also noticed that the hair is slooooowly starting to grow back. My other dog is a tiny old Chihuahua and there’s no chance that she nips her hair out as she doesn’t even play anymore. She’s very old. I’m just at a loss and I don’t want to spend so much money at the vet. doing a bunch of tests. I will if I have to for my baby but I’m going to do an oatmeal bath to soothe her skin from the itchyness. I really want to know if anybody has ever seen this before. Please let me know. I know it’s not proper diagnosis just asking for opinions and others experience. I’m attaching some photos. Thank you
