Matte low fire glazes

I’m working on a big end of the year project in my ceramics class, however, the only glazes offered are all glossy (we use earthenware clay) and low fire matte glazes are pretty hard to come by. Amaco had a line of different colors of matte glazes, which would be amazing if they weren’t pretty much discontinued apart from the matte white and transparent as far as I can see. The glaze I bought for one of my projects was the matte black from blick, which I have yet to use, but considering there is a matte white offered and also that I need some colors that aren't just black and white, is there a way I could use some kind of powder or something with the white to make more colors? I’m not the most experienced with ceramics and I couldn’t really find anything clear on whether I could or couldn’t. I don’t know too much about underglazes and stuff but I’m pretty sure if the former doesn’t work and it’s my only option I could try layering it under the transparent matte and shoot my shot (I don’t know, man.) Any suggestions?
