The Hashbrown Economy Is Out Of Control

Remember when a whole McDonald’s breakfast sandwich was like 99 cents or a buck twenty-nine?

Now the hashbrown alone costs more than the sandwiches used to. Just one little greasy potato slab sitting there like it’s some rare imported artifact.

I’m old enough to remember when hashbrowns were the cheap add-on, not the main financial decision of the morning.

edit: lots of comments about home hash browns. they are pretty cheap and easy but they do not taste the same.
