Texas Teachers retired course with 2 days notice—lost all progress. Has this happened to anyone else?
I’m in Texas Teachers of Tomorrow (alt cert) and was two tests away from finishing the TST 391 test prep when the course was suddenly retired.
They gave two days’ notice through a Canvas announcement (no email), and I immediately lost access to all my completed work. I was told I now have to restart the entire course from the beginning.
When I reached out, they acknowledged the short notice but said there are no exceptions due to compliance requirements.
This has now delayed my certification and impacted a job opportunity.
Has this happened to anyone else in this program? Or is this just how they handle course updates?
