Hot take: she's successfully rage baiting you
In her latest upload, there’s this specific part where she comes up with the title for the vlog, and then the video immediately cuts to her admitting that it’s just “buzzwords.”
I had a realization that she knows what she’s doing and is more intentional about her controversial behavior than we give her credit for. If you go back to like 2020, her vibe was so different. She was more chill and normal, but not nearly as famous.
During her relationship with Jake, she clearly cracked the "clout formula" and has been aggressively capitalizing on it ever since. Her current persona is essentially an ego-driven caricature. She’s chasing the 'sex symbol' and 'party animal' archetypes because it gets her attention, but the execution is rooted in insecurity rather than authenticity. Her constant need to remind us how petite she is, or that every man in her vicinity is obsessed with her, is a desperate plea for external validation. She has a following of people who eat up her nasty behavior making her way more popular as a direct result of establishing the TaraYummy persona.
At the same time, she can't handle the inevitable scrutiny that comes with her branding. The constant mention of her germaphobia feels like a defense mechanism where she's overcompensating to sanitize her image as a gross hedonist. She markets herself as a heartbreaker because she can't handle the idea of male rejection.
Do I think Tara is a grounded human being and all of this is an act? No. It takes a certain kind of weirdo to attempt this in the first place. But clearly the lines are blurred between what is staged versus her genuine self, and this has all gotten to her head. Though once you realize that she's a prisoner to her brand and ego, her career becomes kind of sad and boring to witness.
Also, at what point is some of the snark in this sub just wasted breath? A lot of posts here just point out every time she does something that adds to her pattern of annoying/cringe behavior. Which is valid to be icked out by, but she's doing it on purpose to get engagement, even if a lot of people are hate-watching. Anyways that just my take idk feel free to disagree
