What could be causing it to run rough

What could be causing it to run rough? I just got this from someone that definitely did not look after it. Initially it started on 2 pulls. I’ve changed the oil and fuel and now it starts on first pull. I’ve been working since getting it so haven’t spent anymore time with. Planning on cleaning the carb when I get a chance. Anything else y’all would suggest?

Tool deal

I think this might be a deal worth checking out. I was sort of looking out for new vac anyways and thought this was a good deal because it does come with 3 high performance batteries. Just a heads for y’all as well.

I have about a couple dozen ryobi tools from power tools to outdoor garden tools. Ive been building a shed the past week and half way through the job the circular saw started smoking. I let it rest for a while and still the same. Now it will run for 2 seconds and stop. I had to buy a corded saw to finish the job. Sawzall felt really underpowered cutting a few screws. Both of these are I think the older brushed models. I have a few regular 4 ah batteries I use them with. Other 18v tools seem to be working just fine with the same batteries.

My lawn mower which is a 40 v 20in brushless model seems to struggle a bunch with my lawn especially where there is any significant thickness. I have 2 4ah 40v batteries and the same thing with both. I end up switching to the gas mower to finish the job. I have a 16 in chainsaw and I couldn’t cut through a 10 inch diameter branch. I tried the tiller a couple times but I think the soil was too packed since it hadn’t rained for weeks at the time so I don’t know how it would function in normal conditions.

Are these typical issues with the tools? My batteries are anywhere from 2021-23 and are kept inside. Should I try the tools with new batteries? Hate to be having these issues. Really enjoy having most of the tools on the same platform, but frustrating when can’t finish tasks around the house. Most of my tools are the older models so also don’t to upgrade them because that would be a big investment. Wanting to get a feel for other’s experience before spending more money.
