KLM ams > LIM (and back) upgrade experience.

I spent time searching for this before my flight so thought I'd share my experience.
Flown with klm once before in economy. A few weeks before my flight the upgrade options disappeared so waited until check in. Business class seat was showing for £367 for the 12 hour leg and I snapped it up so quick.
Flight from MAN to Ams was delayed but I just about made the next flight. I picked 6A and the service etc was good. A bit disappointed with the second meal as there was no vegetarian option so I only had the starter and some snacks.
The delay in the first flight meant that the suitcases didn't actually make the flight so I had a day without them but they arrived the next day.
Return journey there was nothing for business so selected premium economy for £150. Food experience was terrible. Veg food contained parmasen cheese which isn't vegetarian. They got me the pasta from economy so that sucked and they were basically done with it. The service was rubbish but I was tired and the seats were good enough for the journey.
Overall it was okay, wouldn't mind travelling with them again.
