Need help with Benelli

I installed the Sure Cycle Magazine Extension Tube (made for Benelli shotguns, including the m2). After installing it I noticed that there was a slight gap between the magazine nut and the gun, as if the nut wasn’t screwing down all the way, and not locking the pieces in place. In the first video you can see there is a small grey button that is sticking up and the gap of space between the nut and gun I am talking about. As a result of this gap space the barrel and receiver can slide away from one another. Another Benelli owner was dealing with a similar issue (I linked this post in the comments replies below), the comments on that thread said to install the mag extension with the bolt pulled back and to tighten the magazine nut down more to prevent shifting. I tried to reinstall the mag tube extension this time with the bolt back, as instructed by the other linked thread’s comments, and the same thing occurred. Initially I tried to just tighten the magazine nut further, using a wrench to generate more force. However, I quickly stopped as this was not working and just stripping the paint off. Furthermore, the magazine tube extension’s instructions specifically stated to NOT use a wrench on the magazine nut for this exact purpose/reason, which leads me to think that hand screwing it on should be enough…In the second portion of the video, I installed a barrel clamp - Toni System Barrel Clamp (designed for Benelli M2 12 ga) and tightened it to prevent this shifting from occurring. Now that the barrel and receiver are connected and there is no gap there (but still a gap between mag nut and tube), is this safe? Or is there something else I need to do before firing?
