I feel like maybe more people should be writing reviews on the BAB website so they see our concerns. Even if it's just requesting restocks. Or issues with online orders. Putting it on the actual website might help.

I am thinking of adding custom eyes to some of my more basic BABs. I was wondering if anyone had pictures of their custom eyes to share. I can't wait to see them! Thanks!
Bubbles (shark in the bunny jammies) is so excited to have a new shark friend. The new guy's name is Keanu Reef. 😆🤩 Reef for short. ♥️
I bought this Pottery Barn plushie because it looked so so soft. I thought the neck was ripped. It turns out it was just sewn flat across and so the head was floppy.
I took his head off just after I met him. Kinda a rough hello but he needed it. Restuffed him with fresh stuffins. Sewed his head back on around the seam. Did some thread sculpting on his face so he could have a snoot.
I am going to call him Herc. I think he's gonna like it here. ♥️🧸

This plushie was a mothman by Build-A-Bear. I've included the original BAB's picture as the last picture.
Here's what I did. I removed the detachable black wings. And then I added the Monarch wings, which I repurposed from another thriftes plush for this purpose. The wings are permanently attached. I hand sewed and cut all the little splotches. I replaced the eyes (obviously). I have dyed and replaced eyes before but this is a lot for me. ♥️🦋

I want a two headed BAB but I can't bring myself to do it.
I think they are quirky and darling. I love the mix of weird and cutesy. I think there are a million basic bears in the world that could use a make over and a new home.
I've boiled my plushies to dye them. I've tossed them into the washing machine. I've sewn seams and fixed rips. I've replaced eyes. I've embroidered X's over the missing eyes, because I thought it was cuter. :) I put them in boxes and sent them through the mail.
But I just can't seem to cut them in half. Maybe someday, I'll get over my brain blockage.

I just wanted to share, Sawyer, my jackalope. I made him several months before the BAB Jackalope came out. He is an altered Floppy Bunny. I found the antlers on another plush that had seen better days.
I was just curious if anyone else here had ever tried their hand at a jackalope custom before. If so, I'd love to see them!
I personally like Sawyer better than the version that BAB released. Though I did buy the BAB after it came out, cause obviously Sawyer needed a buddy! And I am always looking to make another jackalope. :) Cause I think they are such fun cryptids!
