Very disappointed with Sicce Scuba contactless heater…
Saturday, I purchased a 300w Sicce Scuba contactless heater for my 40 Gallon( this is kinda overkill, but I like to keep my room pretty cool). Out of the box, the heater didn’t seem to work. When i plugged it in, the light indicating the heating element is on blinked a couple of times and never turned on again. The next morning( Sunday), I returned that heater and exchanged it for another one of the exact same heater. The new one appears to be working, as the light comes on intermittently indicating it should be heating the aquarium. Well, its going on 36 hours and the aquarium is still in the high 60’s, quite a ways off from the 78 degrees the heater is set at. I’m not sure what the issue could be, ik the outlet works because I have a few other things plugged into it and they’re working just fine. I also find it hard to believe I purchased two brand new heaters and neither of them worked out of the box. Safe to say im some what at a loss and disappointed
