Entirely different cc yet almost similar top speed?
Yes, I know that cc does not equal power but I've always had this question in mind and the recent rc450 reminded me of it again. So there's the cbr250rr with a proclaimed top speed of 110mph to 120mph. So do tell me why an rc450, which has a parallel twin engine, has a proclaimed top speed of 120mph? Why is it that it has an extra cylinder for more power and efficiency and still tops out at around the same speed as a 250cc cbr even though it has 56hp compared to the cbr's 41hp?
