Heyo,
So I’ve been programming a Timecode show and
having this issue with effects. When the effect is selected in the programmer it works as it should but when I store it into the cue in the cuelist, it comes out looking different, sometimes the timing is off, but sometimes it just looks like the selection is entirely different. Ofc there are many variables that I assume that would affect this, but these cuelists get pretty long with the songs I’m doing and it’s hard to track down what would be the issue.
All the effects im using are absolute and selective, if that’s any help.
And sometimes the effect will be fine and then suddenly it’ll be different, whenever i store fade times for fixture parameters I always make sure to store it in the specific cue in the cuelist and not the cue entirely, am I messing stuff up without knowing it?
If anyone’s dealt with this, help would be much appreciated!
EDIT: I think it has something to do with there being dimmer values in the cue, I’ve included a photo in the comments. The fade column in the problem cue was green for some reason, so I overwrote it to delete any info, the green disappeared and the effect worked as normal. How do I find whatever fade/dimmer values have been stored in cues, because I scrolled thru the cue columns and couldn’t find anything
