My remote crapped out after latest update!
2026 bmw x6 msport (plenty posts and i love this thing)
After I have the thing for about 6-8 months i updated to the latest update and now my scheduled remote start and conditioning does not work.
Manually remote starting from the app does not work even though i get a clear confirmation from the app that it was activated and i get a count down timer.
I have tried holding down the audio button, did the reset and that didnt fix it.
The unlock and other remote app features works so i know the car is connected to my phone.
First world problems but after getting used to jumping into a cooled or heated car ready to go its hard to go back sitting and waiting for the engine to warm up and the cabin to get cooled, so pedestrian!
Any other fix i can try?
