Taking my paycheck unfairly
Hey, so I got a new insurance through my work since I lost my coverage the first time because I was waiting for hospital papers to prove my son is a person, and for some reason, between getting a new plan, I lost my old one. Anyway, I thought it kind of worked, but I got a cheaper provider and stopped contributing to my health savings. When I went back to work apparently, they couldn't keep my plan because the time it took to switch me back to their payroll, I was on bonding leave for a new child, and it switched back to my old plan, nearly $200 more(not including ths 300$ i paid out of pocket from loss of insurance so far). They're refusing to give me my deduction back, saying they will transfer it to my new provider after setup, but they keep closing my online portal cases for asking for my money back. The reason I’m asking for it is that I can't start till the next pay period anyway, and this money was part of my budget. Plus, the whole situation causes me emotional distress because my son and partner depend on my income. I work at Starbucks, if curious.
