My sister reminded me of this emotional animated short we bawled our eyes out watching on an airplane sometime in the Early-Mid 2010s, one of those films they have as a part of their in-flight entertainnent. Don't remember much apart from some key sticking points.

* Emotional, someone dies during it. Meant to hit you in the feels.

* 2d/3d hybrid, 2d backgrounds with 3D models

* Featues humanoids made out of boxes, not scupled out of cardboard but their bodies and limbs are cardboard boxes connected together
