Pilgrim's Perch Key?

Ok so I guess I'm in the second area of the game. I just explored EVERYTHING in this area. I beat some mini boos too kinda looked like pyramid head from silent Hill using a flail. Now I found 2 doors that says I need a Pilgrims key. That thing costs 18,000! I don't have anywhere near that amount. But I'm like 90% I explored everything. I even got that hidden blacksmith lady in the prison. Now where do I go? Or do I seriously just need to grind out 18,000 for this key? Or is there any other area I can go now?

Which steak do you prefer?

My dad was always a huge steak person. I grew up eating steak a few times a month. I would just eat it and love it not really caring or knowing the difference. Now I'm older and I know more about steaks. I've been a ribeye man for the past few years. I would hardly cook or order in a restaurant anything other than a Ribeye. Recently I had this amazing strip steak and I REALLY enjoyed it. Then I cooked one at home and it was really good too! Now I'm not sure which i like better? A Ribeye or a Strip steak. Yes they are both steak and they are both delicious but I feel they are different enough that you can have a favorite over the other. Thoughts?

Megadeth Experiment on Spotify.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how Spotify actually decides what songs take off and what just sit there, so I decided to run a real experiment. Instead of picking an obvious hit, I’m going in the opposite direction and choosing a track that’s barely getting attention to see if it can be pushed upward through nothing but consistent listening.

The song I’m using is Dawn Patrol by Megadeth. Right now, it’s nowhere near their Top 10 most played songs and it’s sitting close to the bottom of the “This Is Megadeth” playlist, around seventh from last. That makes it a perfect test case because there’s clearly room for movement, but no existing momentum to rely on.

The idea is simple. There’s no label push behind this, no ads, and no shortcuts. Just real people pressing play. I’m putting together a small group of listeners HERE who will play the song a few times each day and work it into their normal listening habits instead of just looping it nonstop. The goal is to keep it as natural as possible while still being consistent enough to test how the algorithm reacts.

What I’m really trying to figure out is how much it actually takes to move a song like this. Does Spotify respond more to a sudden spike in plays, or does it favor steady, repeated listening over time? How many days does it take before a song even starts to climb, if it climbs at all? And realistically, how many streams from a small group actually matter?

From this post most people who want to join in I'm hoping will probably end up playing it somewhere between five and fifteen times without it feeling forced. Over the course of a week, that adds up quickly, but whether that’s enough to make any visible impact is the whole point of the experiment.

I’ll be tracking where the song ranks each day on the artist page and how long it takes to see any movement. If Dawn Patrol actually breaks into the Top 10, that would say a lot about how powerful consistent listeners can be. If nothing happens, then it’s a good sign that the algorithm is much harder to influence than people think.

Either way, this should give a real look at whether a small, coordinated group of listeners can actually move the needle or if Spotify’s system is more locked in than it seems.

If anyone wants to join in all you have to do is play Dawn Patrol on Spotify. Even just playing 1 time today would help but if you don't mind try playing it at least 5 times. Just past the 30 second mark. That's when Spotify actually counts a song as played. Thanks.
