Character growth moments portrayed through cutting hair

Serena (Pokemon XY) She loses in a Pokemon showcase and gets very upset. So after, she cuts her hair, it’s supposed to be symbolize a new beginning or maturity, moving forward with a new resolve.

Mulan (Mulan) Mulan cuts her hair to be able to disguise as a man and fight in the war. It’s symbolic because it’s like she’s cutting away her feminine life to fight for what’s right and the safety for her family

Sakura (Naruto) Sakura was in trouble against one of the enemy ninjas, she grabbed Sakura by her hair and she feels hopeless, but that’s when she realizes that she needs to stop relying on Sasuke or Naruto to save her and protect herself, she then cuts her hair off, freeing her from the hold.

(Sad trope) Innocent people who die brutal deaths all because they decided to be nice and help the main characters

Malik (Superman 2025) He was a friend to Superman and he helped him and was very encouraging, so Lex Luthor kidnapped him and shot in in the head in an interrogation with a captive Superman

The Munson Family (Logan 2017) The family harbored Logan, Laura and Professor X for safety, but when the evil Logan clone attacked, he killed the wife, husband and even the kid

Squalla (Hunter x Hunter) He decided to aide Kurapika in his quest to find the Phantom Troupe. He then drove away with the Scarlet eyes until three members of the Phantom Troupe got him. They interrogated him until Nobunaga decided he had enough and decapitates him. What makes it even sadder is that immediately after it, the scene cuts to his lover who he planned to married, making an “huh?” Expression as if she felt a disturbance

She looks very interesting to me, mainly because of her facial features, she looks pretty distinct compared to most women in anime. Obviously she has a long aquiline nose which is the main distinguishing factor. It’s pretty rare especially in anime for adult women who aren’t elderly to have long noses. It’s not a trait you would see on a conventionally attractive character. I love her design because of her long nose. I also love her half-lidded eyes which is another design trope i’m a huge fan of. Her purple suit is super neat and yeah, she’s hot too. The last three images are from the 1999 show and the manga
