A dumb question about Sanguinius

So, I’m reading the HH series and I’ve been wondering.

To what extent does Sanguinius know the future? Did he know he would die at the hands of his beloved brother? Did he know the emperor’s fate?

If he did know all this, could he have done anything differently? Or had he accepted it?

What is each traitor legion up to, as if 2026?

**As of 2026

With Perty’s return to lead the Iron Warriors in an organized siege on the Imperium, it got me wondering: what are the other legions up to?

I know that, generally, the legions of chaos are split into hundreds of warbands similar to how the loyalists were split into various chapters.

But I’m here to focus on our traitorous lads here. I’m not 100% up to date on recent lore, and so I was wondering, can anyone tell me what each traitor legion is up to? (obviously, the iron warriors were simple enough)

Which chaos god is currently strongest?

So, I was wondering. And I know the answer is probably fairly obvious, as I’ll guess towards the end…

So, I think we can easily dismiss Nurgle as the current strongest warp god. Mortarion was bitch-slapped back to hell when a huge swathe of Nurgle‘s garden was obliterated by the big E’s holy napalm.

I also don’t personally think it’s Tzeentch. I know the events of Space Marine 2 are only 80% canon-ish, but he had a huge amount of forces annihilated the by the Ultramarines and Titus personally got Imorah sent to be first in line to be made a chaos spawn…

My personal guess is Khorne. It feels obvious to me, given that the god of war would obviously be constantly empowered in a setting called…well…Warhammer.

But, ofc, I’m not 100% up to date on the lore. Gimme your thoughts, and any recent developments!
