Crash Help
Hello All, long time stalker first time poster.
So yesterday whilst riding along on a training ride enjoying the sun, I hit a very small pot hole and got flung off my bike. Luckily some really nice passers by helped me and my kit out of the road and called an ambulance as I had hit my head and had suspected concussion as well as landing on my shoulder which felt broken at the time.
After getting x-rays and tests it turns out I've completely ruptured my ligaments that connect my collar bone to my shoulder so my collar bone is pointing in a silly direction, as well as many other scrapes and bruises. Now i'm in bed bandaged up waiting for the specialist to call and hopefully with news that I don't need surgery but it's still going to be a long recovery.
My question is can I get some photos of all my smashed up gear and the pothole and send it to the council to see if they will cover some of the costs or can I re-sign up to British Cycling to use their legal cover?
