Assamese people should stop watching/reading news now. It's quite clear in this election how unethically it's being used as a tool by the ruling party.
When Kunki's character assassination is going on through misrepresented photos and deepfake videos, they are turning a blind eye to their secret benefactor. But as allegations are thrown at their overlord, they are up in arms immediately falsifying the claims.
This is a sad state of affairs, and I for the one, feel saddened and ashamed at the death of journalism in Assam.
