I am 42 and have been experiencing intense hot flashes and night sweats for the past few months that have been increasing in frequency. In between flashes I’ve been feeling cold and clammy. Now in the last couple days I’ve been having a rapid heart rate when resting or walking at a normal pace.

I had my levels checked yesterday and my FSH is considered “post-menopausal” at 139.9 and my LH is 55.9 even though I had my period 24 days ago. My period has been mostly regular but the cycle before my last was 63 days. Am I falling of a menopausal cliff all of a sudden or should I be worried something else is happening?
