I received a referral for genetic testing for a hereditary disease because so many of my family members have it. I went to the place on the referral and they ran me thru what the test consisted of, and then did it same day. They shipped it to the lab for testing and I received the results 2 weeks later. Now I received a notice from Tricare saying that they’re denying covering for the test because the lab the hospital used it out of network.

I have no idea what to do, or where to start? I of course will email our referral office, but I’m terrified how much I’m going to have to pay out of pocket.

Are these normal? I am definitely not a fan, but wondering if the images are something new or has it been a thing now for awhile?

We’re doing a morale potluck event at our unit and my group wants to do a themed boot camp food station, think like mini French toast sticks…but we need more. What else were they serving at boot camp?! We did consider hamsters, but we remember those from our cutters, not boot camp!
