Dehumidification in Safe

Hello,

I am currently using DampRid to control the humidity in my safe. While I was on Amazon, I saw a dehumidifier that looks like have a heat exchanger to collect moisture from air and collects in a container similar to how A/C works. They claim it's a semiconductor refrigeration technology and I am not sure if this is legit or a gimmick.

Garden Grove Evacuees, What's Next?

Hello All,

I was one of the 16,000 evacuees that just returned to home last night. So glad to be back home, but what do I do from now? People told me to save all the receipts on expenses I had to make during the evacuation. Will the city have a website for us to upload the receipts for reimbursement? Do I need to hire a lawyer to get the reimbursement? I saw some social media posts about the small claim. Is this the way to go or do I join the class action lawsuit?

Thank you,

Tips for First Time JM Owner

Hello All,

I just ordered two #1 Container size JM from Conifer Kingdom, and I am an absolute beginner with plants. Please see below my plans on growing these JM, and let me know if there's anything I'm thinking wrong.

  1. I plan to keep them in the pot that comes from Conifer Kingdom for a year. Then I plan to replant them in a one size bigger pot. Should Is this ok? or should I re-pot them as soon as I receive them?
  2. I plan to locate the pots at my front patio, which is east-facing. It gets morning sun, but gets shaded in the afternoon, starting around 1200-1300. Is this good location?
  3. Watering will be every other day until July, and once the heat gets up will water them every day.
  4. I heard putting mulch helps with soil and roots. Should I do it since it does get pretty high heat in Southern California weather?

Any other tips and recommendations are much appreciated!
