Swing 3 weeks apart… if you look like my first swing read below it may help!!!
3 weeks apart. Still a long way to go, but finally starting to see some real compression on my good swings.
Been grinding for ~6 months and recently switched coaches. In just a couple lessons he gave me a simple rope drill that completely changed my downswing feel. I used to get to the top fine but lose everything coming down (OTT, arms firing, no compression).
Now when I’m swinging well, I feel like I’m swinging a loose rope/towel and letting it whip. It’s helped me get more from the inside and keep my trail arm more tucked instead of throwing it.
Not perfect at all, but a big step forward for me. If you’re in a similar spot (good backswing, bad downswing), this might help. Happy to explain more if anyone wants 👍
