18, FSC student from Pakistan — trying to figure out real ways to earn money from zero

Hey everyone,

I’m 18, doing FSC in Pakistan, and I’m basically starting from scratch financially. No investment, no proper income source, and I’m trying to figure out what actually works in 2026 to start earning.

I’ve been researching a few options but I’m not sure what’s real and what’s just online hype:

AI website creation (selling simple websites to small businesses)

Building small apps using AI tools and publishing them

Dropshipping through platforms like Markaz / HHC

Importing and reselling products locally

Freelancing / basic digital services

The problem is I don’t have capital, so I’m trying to understand what is actually realistic to start with zero money in Pakistan and what skills actually lead to income instead of just tutorials.

If anyone here has experience in startups or online earning, I’d really appreciate honest advice — what should a beginner actually focus on first, and how did you get your first income?

Also if anyone is working on a startup and needs someone part-time for basic work (learning, assisting, handling small tasks, etc.), I’m genuinely willing to contribute and learn along the way.

Thanks for reading.

18, FSC student, completely broke… what’s the most realistic way to start earning in Pakistan?

Hey everyone, I’m 18 and currently doing FSC, and honestly I feel stuck. I don’t have my own money at all, and it’s starting to get to me mentally. Whenever I go out with friends, they’re the ones paying — and the thing is, they’re earning themselves, not relying on parents. Meanwhile I feel like I’m just… behind.

I’ve been trying to figure out ways to start earning online, but there’s so much information that I can’t tell what’s real and what’s just hype. I’ve come across things like selling AI-made websites to small businesses, making apps with AI and publishing them, dropshipping through Markaz or HHC, or even importing products and reselling locally.

The issue is: I literally have zero investment, so I don’t know what’s actually doable from that position.

If anyone here in Pakistan started from nothing, what path would you honestly recommend? What skills actually pay here, how did you learn them, and how long did it take before you made your first income?

Also, how do you deal with this constant feeling of being behind others at this age?

Would really appreciate genuine advice.

How do businesses import PC components (CPUs, GPUs, cases, peripherals) and deal with customs?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been researching the PC hardware business and wanted to understand how people actually import products like CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, cases, keyboards, mice, and headphones from China or other countries.

From what I’ve seen online, there seem to be a few different methods, but I’m not sure what’s most common or practical in real life:

Do most businesses source from B2B platforms like Alibaba or 1688?

Or do serious sellers have direct contacts or agents based in China who handle sourcing and quality checks?

When it comes to shipping, what channels are typically used? (Air cargo, sea freight, express like DHL, etc.)

How do they deal with customs duties, taxes, and clearance in their country? Is it handled by freight forwarders or do they need a license/import registration themselves?

Also, how do they ensure product authenticity (especially for high-value items like GPUs and CPUs)?

I’m especially curious about the economics side:

Are margins still good in this business considering competition and taxes?

Is it viable for a beginner with low capital to enter this space, or is it dominated by large importers?

Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has experience in importing or running a PC hardware business. Even general advice or things to avoid would help a lot.

Thanks!
