I was unsure if my P. werneri were reproducing at all when last month all of a sudden like 30 good sized juveniles appeared and started wandering everywhere. My theory is that when they were fresh pancakes they stayed hidden in the cork bark and now that they are a good size they are more confident exploring for more food.
Delivery drivers seem incapable of finding my apartment. My apartment complex is one where there are 50+ buildings each with 8-10 apartments each. Each building is only 2 stories. My apartment is on the second floor but my building is not directly on the road and is accessible by paved walking paths. However most of the buildings are not directly on the road so my building is not unique at all.
I have had several packages go completely missing because instead of just taking the package back they decide to leave it at a random apartment. And 9 times out of 10 it’s not even the same building or apartment number. I can tell this because each door knocker has the number engraved and all apartments with my number are on the second floor. So if the entrance way is cement instead of wood I know it must be a ground floor apartment which cannot be the same unit number as me.
I’ve had some deliver it to the main office which I don’t mind at all because it’s a 5 min walk and a secure location. What I do mind is when they give up and just leave it somewhere.
I’ve had them leave a package at the back door of the maintenance building which makes no sense because you have to go on a gravel road and it is far away from all the actual apartment buildings. The delivery picture bewildered me because it didn’t even look like any of the buildings on the main grounds so I had no clue where it even ended up and I thought it was outside of the complex. I only ended up getting the package because the maintenance people are very nice and one delivered it to my apartment personally.
I would be more understanding if my place was a new construction but it was built in the 1950s so it’s been here for a long time. Plus there are signs on each pathway saying which numbered buildings are in that direction.
I’m just really annoyed today because I was supposed to get an express one day delivery yesterday and they went to the wrong apartment and left a door tag there which I have no way of getting because it’s not any of the apartments in my 5 neighboring buildings or even in my building. I then just requested for them to hold it for me to pickup but they tried to deliver it again today and they went to the wrong apartment again. I have no way of knowing when it will be back at the pickup place since I can’t get the tag so I will have to drive there later and just hope the truck got back already.
Does anyone else deal with similar issues?
